  • 12:00 — Welcome to Heritage House: Arrival & Champagne

    Arrive at Capel House where you will be welcomed with:

    • Freshly brewed coffee
    • Homemade biscuits
    • A glass of Champagne. 

    Relax and settle into one of the Cotswolds’ most characterful private homes before your afternoon begins.

  • 12:30 — A Journey Through The Manor

    Enjoy a fascinating guided tour exploring the remarkable history of both the house and village.

    Discover:

    • The fascinating history of The Manor
    • Prestbury, England’s famous haunted village
    • The historic Burgage
    • Beautiful Georgian architectural features
    • The original Ice Room and the Whisky Library
    • The magnificent Regency marble fireplace, recognised as part of the property’s historic significance

    Guests discover how architecture, antiques and family history combine to tell the story of an English country house spanning over 300 years.

  • 13:30 — The World of Antiques: Hosted by Zoe Bawtree

    An engaging, interactive session with the founder of Heritage House.

    Learn how to:

    • Recognise quality craftsmanship
    • Spot original antiques from later reproductions
    • Understand periods and styles
    • Discover the fascinating stories behind individual pieces
    • Handle and examine carefully selected antiques

    This relaxed “show and tell” experience allows guests to ask questions while learning from genuine museum-quality objects.

  • 14:30 — Private Viewing: Antique Viewing & Shopping

    Uniquely, many of the pieces displayed throughout the house are available to purchase. Browse a carefully curated collection of vintage costume jewellery, from Georgian to the 1980s, English silver plate, crystal, cloisonne, paintings, decorative antiques and collectables.

    Pieces carrying a discreet green Heritage House label are available to buy, an authentic piece of English history to take home. All purchases are beautifully wrapped by Heritage House, and global shipping costs can be priced on the day.

  • 15:30 — Traditional Afternoon Tea: Served on Heritage House Antiques

    Enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea served using Heritage House antiques.

    During the Summer:

    Afternoon tea is served in the beautiful garden overlooking Capel House.

    During the Winter:

    Guests dine in the elegant formal dining room surrounded by period antiques and historic interiors.

  • 16:30 — Warm Farewell: A Parting Gift

    Before departing, each guest receives their beautifully wrapped purchases (where applicable), a Heritage House gift bag, and memories of a truly unique English Country House experience.
