Made in Yorkshire, this blanket comes from a mill whose story began in 1837 and whose expertise has been built over generations. The mill is one of Britain’s few remaining vertical woollen mills, where the journey from raw wool to finished cloth takes place under one roof.
From dyeing and spinning to weaving and finishing, traditional techniques continue alongside generations of knowledge passed down through the hands of skilled craftspeople. The mill has played its part in Britain’s textile history for almost two centuries, including producing cloth for military uniforms during two World Wars.
