Art Deco Silver-Plated Cocktail Shaker – Regent Plate
A wonderfully stylish English Art Deco silver-plated cocktail shaker, dating to circa 1930s, with all the glamour of the cocktail age.
Made in England and marked “REGENT PLATE E.P.N.S. MADE IN ENGLAND”, this handsome shaker has a beautifully simple, streamlined form typical of the Art Deco period. The gently tapering body rises to a broad domed shoulder, finished with a removable top featuring a finely textured decorative band.
Particularly charming is the side pouring spout with its original cork stopper and silver-plated cap—an unusual and practical detail that gives the shaker real character. The design allows cocktails to be mixed in the main body and poured neatly through the side spout.
The polished silver-plated surface has a lovely mellow antique patina, with signs of age and use that add to its authentic vintage appeal. There is some wear and surface marking consistent with a piece that has been enjoyed for close to a century.
