Vintage Thomas Webb Tall Cut Crystal Decanter – Mid-20th Century

A beautifully elegant vintage English cut crystal decanter by the renowned glassmakers Thomas Webb, dating to the mid-20th century.

Of particularly graceful, elongated proportions, this striking decanter features a tall, slender body decorated with beautifully executed starburst and floral-inspired cutting. The intricate decoration extends around the lower body, catching and reflecting the light, while the upper section remains wonderfully clear, creating a lovely contrast.

The gently shaped shoulders rise to a beautifully cut, fluted neck, finished with a substantial, multi-faceted crystal stopper featuring further starburst decoration.

The underside is finished with an impressive deeply cut radiating star and bears the Thomas Webb maker’s mark, confirming its English manufacture.

A wonderful example of traditional English crystal craftsmanship, this decanter would make a magnificent addition to a drinks cabinet, sideboard or beautifully laid dining table.

Suitable for displaying and serving wine or spirits, it is equally attractive as a decorative piece in its own right.
