Josephinenhütte Amber Cut Crystal & Silver Decanter
An exceptional vintage Josephinenhütte crystal decanter, beautifully crafted in rich amber glass with an intricate cut decoration revealing the clear crystal beneath.
The generously proportioned body is decorated with an elegant repeating leaf and elongated geometric motif, complemented by a beautifully cut matching amber stopper. A substantial silver-mounted collar provides a sophisticated contrast to the warm colouring of the glass.
Josephinenhütte was one of Europe’s celebrated glass manufacturers, established in Silesia in 1842 and renowned for the quality, precision and elegance of its decorative glassware.
Both highly decorative and eminently usable, this is a wonderful statement decanter for a drinks table, cocktail cabinet or home bar.

This vintage Josephinenhütte karaffe decanter was designed by Alexander Pfohl around 1930. It features solid colourless glass with a amber overlay, cut in a stylised leaf or feather pattern. The decanter has a silver mount stamped with a crescent moon, crown, and "800" silver purity mark, manufactured by Theodor Müller.
